Course Description

This course introduces the fundamentals of reservoir management for petroleum, reservoir, and all subsurface engineers and specialists. It explains what reservoir management means and the tools they use, data/info they require, strategies & techniques they utilize and objectives they seek and their significances. All you need to optimize your reservoir performance pre drilling, during drilling, post drilling, secondary recovery and EOR is here!

For interested trainees, this course can be a fundamental step for developing their career options. For none reservoir engineers, this course might be the wild card for them to enter the reservoir management arena.

Learning Outcomes

Attendees will understand the following topics:

  • Understanding the fundamentals of reservoir engineering with emphasis on its relevance and integration to field development
  • Understanding state-of-the-art tools, technologies and strategies that make the difference for modern reservoir management
  • Understanding the existing relationship of available development options mapped to economic feasibility and risk analysis
  • Understanding reservoir management remaining challenges with a glance on unconventional reservoirs

Who Should Attend

This course is open to all upstream specialists.
